Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in acute care settings within the Cardiovascular Unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, delegating tasks to LPNs and UAPs as required by the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN within five years of employment; night shift, 36 hours per week, with focus on safety, quality and team collaboration in a high reliability

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN must be obtained within five years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Document planned interventions based on diagnoses to achieve outcomes.
• Evaluate responses to interventions and revise care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in process improvement to improve quality, satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Maintain safety, quality and efficiency in daily operations as an HRO.

Registered Nurse license (Ohio or compact state)

BLS Certification
