Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Cardiovascular Specialist to serve as the primary customer contact, delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals in the Memphis region. This role promotes products, supports payer navigation, and helps drive territory sales with both in-person and virtual engagement.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with several years of sales or clinical healthcare experience; Senior status requires additional experience and credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a science or business field.
• Associate’s degree and 4 years of Sales experience or
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience (or related clinical experience).
• Senior qualifications include a Bachelor's with 3 years in sales/healthcare or equivalent experience.
• Additional preferred qualifications include deep product knowledge and market relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct programs to achieve territory sales targets.
• Develop relationships to manage accounts and address reimbursement and contract needs.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and opportunities for growth.
• Uphold Amgen values and maintain patient-centered focus throughout the sales cycle.
