Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Associate degree plus 4 years of sales experience or High School diploma/GED with 6 years of sales experience accepted.
• Preferred: 3+ years of sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industries; local market knowledge and established relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals.
• Promote Amgen products and deliver branded sales messages to drive product utilization.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including understanding customer needs and navigating reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive results.
• Maintain patient-centric focus and uphold Amgen values throughout the sales cycle.
