Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures, employing sterile technique and cutting-edge imaging to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatments. Strong communication with patients and colleagues is essential.

Ideal candidates have RCIS or ARRT(R) certification with BLS, and at least one year of relevant experience, with licensure as required by state regulations. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Imaging Program with required clinical hours or RCIS training certification.
• One year of relevant experience.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• ARRT (R) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain sterile technique and use advanced imaging technologies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Follow complex instructions and ensure accuracy and safety in procedures.
• Adhere to licensure and certification requirements as applicable.
