The role emphasizes sterile technique, high-level imaging knowledge, clear communication with patients and professionals, and active participation in orientation and staff training to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program with required clinical hours or RCIS training certification.
• Two years of relevant experience in cardiovascular imaging or invasive procedures.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice location.
• ARRT (R) or RCIS certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures with the care team.
• Serve as resource and superuser; assist in orientation and training of staff.
• Maintain sterile technique and up-to-date knowledge of imaging technologies.
