Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Advanced Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures in collaboration with the care team. The role requires strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile technique, and imaging technologies to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments for heart-related conditions.

Responsibilities include serving as a resource and superuser, assisting in orientation and training, and maintaining effective communication

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Imaging Program with required clinical hours or RCIS training.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice location.
• ARRT(R) or CCI(RCIS) certification; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Serves as a resource, superuser, and assists in orientation and training.
• Maintains strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and imaging technologies.
