Job summary

UNC Health Care in Garner, NC seeks a radiologic technologist specializing in cardiovascular imaging to join our per diem team. You will perform ultrasound imaging, pre/post procedure patient care, room setup and data reporting supporting cardiovascular patients.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI eligible or registered, BLS certification, and an associate degree or 12-month ultrasound program. No prior experience required; day shifts with on-site work and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology or a related field within 3 months of hire
• Completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program within 3 months of hire
• ARDMS/CCI certification eligibility and registry within 1 year from hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care including CPR when needed
• Ensure equipment calibration and daily maintenance; log QA monitoring
• Generate ultrasound images of heart and vascular structures
• May train staff and assist with education
• Maintain and retrieve patient data and reports in the systems
