Job summary

UNC Health in Smithfield, NC is seeking a radiologic technologist specialized in cardiovascular sonography to perform ultrasound imaging and pre/post-procedure patient care.

Responsibilities include equipment calibration, image acquisition, data entry, and assisting with room setup between procedures; also potential staff training. Education must be completed within 3 months of hire and ARDMS/CCI certification or registry-eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Education must be completed within 3 months of hire.
• ARDMS/CCI certification or registry-eligible and registered within 1 year of hire.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care, including CPR.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is calibrated and maintained daily.
• Generate ultrasound images of cardiovascular structures.
• May provide staff training and education.
• Monitor and record patient information and manage data systems.
