HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital is seeking a Director of Cardiovascular Services to lead the department and drive quality of care for cardiovascular patients. You will oversee 24/7 operations, ensure staffing, equipment, and education, and collaborate with physicians to optimize outcomes.

The role demands strong leadership, clinical experience in angiography/cardiac cath, and a track record in supervisory roles within a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current Florida RN license strongly preferred; RCIS/RCVT may be accepted in lieu of RN.
• BLS required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in angiography and cardiac cath; RN must have cardiac patient care experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication; ability to read and follow instructions; project planning/management skills; proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement programs to measure and improve quality of care and patient safety.
• Maintain 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the department.
• Ensure provision of quality services via staffing, equipment, space, and staff training.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for patient progress, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Apply continuous quality improvement to optimize patient outcomes and reduce adverse events.
