University of South Carolina is seeking an Instructor/Senior Instructor in Cardiovascular Sciences. The role is twelve-month, with 50% teaching and 50% administrative service, starting August 16, 2027. The appointment is renewable based on performance and funding.

Qualifications

Master's degree in cardiovascular sciences, health sciences, kinesiology, physiology, exercise science, or closely related field by start date.
2+ years of professional experience in cardiovascular technology, diagnostics/intervention, or related field with current certification such as RCIS, RDCS, RVT, RCES, RCS, RVS, or equivalent.
Senior Instructor requires five years of full-time teaching in higher education; evidence of scholarly or professional contributions encouraged.

Responsibilities

Teach advanced cardiovascular anatomy and physiology and related clinical procedures.
Deliver professional development course for cardiovascular technologists and foster interprofessional collaboration.
Support partnerships with CAAHEP-accredited programs and strengthen clinical affiliations.
Contribute to curriculum development and guidance for students transitioning to clinical training.
