The position is a twelve-month appointment with 50% teaching and 50% administrative service. This is an annual appointment that may be renewed contingent upon the dean's approval, satisfactory performance, department needs and the availability of funding.
We seek an experienced cardiovascular professional and educator who can bridge a rigorous undergraduate cardiovascular science education with contemporary clinical practice to help strengthen and expand our CVT major.

USC's Cardiovascular Technology major combines a rigorous science-based undergraduate curriculum with intensive clinical training through accredited partner programs, preparing students for professional cardiovascular technology practice, leadership, and further study. Current opportunities exist for training in adult echocardiography, vascular sonography, combined echo/vascular, invasive cardiovascular technology, and electrophysiology. Appointment as Senior Instructor requires the equivalent of five years of full-time teaching experience in higher education. Candidates with evidence of research scholarship, quality-improvement and workforce development, professional leadership, or other contributions to cardiovascular education and clinical practice are encouraged to apply.
