Job summary

Intuitive is seeking a Cardiovascular Program Specialist (CVPS) to provide expert clinical support, education, and training for robotic cardiac surgery technologies. You will collaborate with the Cardiovascular Sales Manager to ensure safe adoption and positive patient outcomes in a national team focused on developing cardiac surgeons and teams.

The role requires 2+ years in cardiac clinical settings, with preference for PA/RN backgrounds and experience with the da Vinci platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a cardiac-related clinical role (cardiac surgery preferred, or electrophysiology, interventional cardiology)
• Experience as a physician assistant or surgical nurse, combined with medical device industry experience, is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in nursing, life sciences, business, or a related field.
• Advanced clinical credentials (RN, PA, NP, RT, or other relevant clinical certifications) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site case support in the operating room or hybrid OR for procedures involving robotic cardiac surgery technologies.
• Serve as a clinical expert for product setup, troubleshooting, and optimal use during live cases.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols.
• Expand the user base by collaborating with the CVSM to cultivate a training pipeline of new surgeons.
• Exhibit proficiency in multiple technology platforms to support da Vinci adoption.
• Promote advanced instruments and accessories to enhance surgical performance and promote surgeon autonomy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to identify opportunities for expanding the use of the da Vinci System.
