Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a registered nurse to provide general nursing care within the Cardiovascular Unit 4. The role operates on a night shift with a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and will collaborate with licensed practical nurses and UAPs. Minimum qualifications include an Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN preferred after five years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification
• BSN required at 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement to improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
• Operations (10%).
• As an HRO, focus on safety, quality and efficiency in job duties.
