Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Consult with the principal investigator and help develop plans for experiments and data collection.
• Modify lab procedures to meet project needs and ensure reproducibility.
• Prepare detailed reports and discuss results with the PI.
• Review journals and literature to support procedures and experimental design.
• Conduct chemical, physical, and biological tests on samples.
• Perform micro analyses and enzyme studies on tissues and secretions.
• Monitor animal care as required by protocols and collect samples.
• Train and supervise students and junior technicians in the lab.
