Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Registry and Accreditation Manager to lead data abstraction and accreditation activities. The role ensures compliance with ACC, STS, VCSQI, and other bodies, with quarterly reporting and interdepartmental collaboration for quality improvement.

The incumbent will oversee data teams, maintain documentation, and drive accuracy in cardiovascular quality performance, partnering with leadership to meet annual goals and standards.

Qualifications

• Current Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) required.
• Two year Associate degree in healthcare meeting NCRA requirements.
• Four year Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related major preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Cardiovascular Data Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Manage cardiovascular accreditation activities for the market and oversee a data abstraction team.
• Interface with QCentrix to populate and present quarterly reports for ACC/STS/VCSQI and related bodies.
• Maintain cardiovascular program documentation for compliance and quality performance.
• Lead documentation of qualitative initiatives per accrediting bodies' templates.
• Provide quality reporting updates to physicians and hospital leadership.
• Document cardiovascular improvement program activities and track outcomes annually.
• Ensure proper collection and maintenance of accreditation documentation.
• Collaborate with the quality department to monitor outcomes and participate in special studies.
• Oversee annual HVSL accreditation improvement initiatives and policy updates.
