Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and serves as an advocate for patients to support an exceptional patient experience.

The role requires RN licensure, a Bachelor's degree, and ACLS and BLS certifications within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (Registered Nurse)
• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes in status
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by medical provider
• Document administration of care in patient records promptly and thoroughly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
