Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Perfusionist to support cardiopulmonary bypass procedures with the surgical team.

The role requires a perfusion technology degree or related science, along with licensure as a Perfusionist or NJ temporary license. 3+ years of clinical perfusion experience is preferred, with comprehensive responsibilities across bypass management and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Degree in perfusion technology or related science required.
• Licensure as a Perfusionist or NJ temporary license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiopulmonary bypass under surgeon guidance in accordance with policies.
• Ensure all routine and emergency cases follow policies and procedures.
• Monitor anticoagulation, hemodynamics and cerebral oximetry during bypass.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist throughout the procedure.
• Maintain and complete perfusion records and related documentation.
