Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, Utah, seeks an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced operating room. You will scrub high-acuity cases, maintain sterile technique, prepare the OR and instruments, and assist surgeons under the supervision of the OR team.

The role involves responding to emergencies, turning over rooms, mentoring staff, and participating in annual education.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification.
• Completion of an accredited ORT program or recent non-accredited program graduate.
• Two years of scrub tech experience or on-the-job rural training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Support system-wide surgical operations and safety plans.
• Ensure sterilization criteria are met and maintain a sterile environment.
• Prepare the operating room and instruments, assist with sterile processing, and support surgeons.
• Identify emergencies, assist with room turnover and cleaning.
• Participate in training and mentoring with at least one educational offering per year.
