Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field.
• Select, set up, organize, and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Anticipate surgeons’ needs during procedures such as CABG, valve repair, and vascular interventions.
• Assist during surgery by ensuring appropriate instruments and materials are available promptly.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and perfusionists to support patient safety and optimal outcomes.
