IntermountainHealth’s St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO seeks a skilled Cardiovascular OR RN to join our surgical services team.

You’ll collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to deliver safe, high‑quality care for cardiothoracic patients, with 10‑hour shifts and call responsibilities. Ideal candidates hold a BSN and CO RN license, with BLS and 1+ year Cardiothoracic surgical experience.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service).
• At least one (1) year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting.

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
