Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health’s Main Operating Room in New Brunswick is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular OR RN to provide comprehensive perioperative care, prepare the OR, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety during procedures. You must hold an active RN license and BLS, with ASN required and BSN/CNOR preferred; prior OR experience or perioperative 101 is expected.

Day shift, 40 hours per week, on-site at One Robert Wood Johnson Place, with on-call responsibilities for

Qualifications

• Active RN license and BLS certification.
• ASN degree required; BSN and CNOR preferred.
• Prior OR experience or perioperative 101 coursework.
• CNOR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in and circulate in the OR across cardiovascular and other specialties.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and surgical equipment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal care.
• Adhere to infection control and professional perioperative standards.
• Support perioperative care from induction through recovery.
