RWJBarnabas Health's Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ invites a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiothoracic Operating Room. You will support perioperative care, prepare the OR, handle equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold safety and standards.

This full-time position offers three 12.5-hour day shifts. NJ RN license in good standing and BLS are required; OR experience or perioperative 101 is needed; a BSN is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Prior operating room experience or completion of perioperative 101 course.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in and circulate in various OR areas.
• Assist with complex surgeries using advanced technology.
• Serve as a key member of the perioperative team and advocate for patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team to maintain standards of nursing practice.
