Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA is hiring a Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist for a full-time day shift. No nights, no weekends; typical schedule Monday to Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with occasional 4-hour Saturday mornings.

You will perform EKG applications, Holter/Event monitoring, stress testing, report processing and charting, and assist with equipment maintenance and inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of EKG and Holter/monitor experience required.
• BLS within 90 days of hire; EKG certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply, acquire, edit and recognize EKG rhythms.
• Hook-up and scan Holter/Event monitors.
• Perform stress testing and report processing/charting.

No Weekends! Monday to Fri- 7 to 330 usually, and occasional 4 hour Saturdays, once a month.About the department:Due to expansion of department, we are adding to the Team! The non-invasive lab will see a mix of outpatient and inpatient clients up to around 11 per day of EKG application, stress and exercise testing and those in nuclear stress testing.Requires EKG application, acquisition, editing and rhythm recognition; Holter/Event Monitor hook-up and scanning; stress testing; report processing and charting; recognize and alert cardiologist to abnormal results.
