Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA seeks a Vascular Lab Technologist for the Cardiac non-invasive lab. This full-time day shift role supports echocardiography and vascular work in a high-volume setting, with approximately 9,500 procedures annually.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, RVT or RVS certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience. Call coverage is required, including every 4th weekend. ProSolv and EPIC EMR are used in daily workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; certification in vascular imaging.
• Associate degree preferred.
• RVT or RVS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform about 7 vascular exams per day in a high-volume lab.
• Collaborate using EPIC EMR and ProSolv Structured Reports.
• Maintain up-to-date echocardiographic techniques and equipment knowledge.

City/StateHarrisonburg, VAWork ShiftFirst (Days)Overview:Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring an Vascular Lab Technologist for the Cardiac service line non-invasive lab. This is a full time, day shift position in Harrisonburg, Va. Must life within 30 minutes of the facility for call purposes.Hours: Schedule can be either four 9-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts with start time of 8am.Required Call: every 4th weekend from 8am to noon on Saturday and Sunday.The Sentara RMH Medical Center echocardiography and vascular lab is considered high volume with close to 9,500 procedures performed annually. The lab works closely with our invasive cardiology (structural heart, electrophysiology, diagnostic/interventional cath) and cardiothoracic surgery services. Each Team member is expected to perform about 7 exams per day. Preliminary reports are generated in ProSolv (Structured Report SW Application). Clinical equipment include state of the art Philips Epic ultrasound systems and EPIC (electronic medical record).
