Overview

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist for a Full Time, Day shift position in Charlottesville, VA.

No Nights! No Weekends! Monday to Fri- 7 to 330 usually, and occasional 4 hour Saturdays, once a month.

About the department

Due to expansion of department, we are adding to the Team! The non-invasive lab will see a mix of outpatient and inpatient clients up to around 11 per day of EKG application, stress and exercise testing and those in nuclear stress testing.

Job Requirements

• Requires EKG application, acquisition, editing and rhythm recognition; Holter/Event Monitor hook-up and scanning; stress testing; report processing and charting; recognize and alert cardiologist to abnormal results.
• Operate/maintain all equipment in a safe and appropriate manner; complete department documentation; maintain adequate supply inventory to perform procedures; participate in department Performance Initiatives; participate in the professional development of staff and students.

• EKG Course completion highly preferred

Certification/Licensure

• BLS within 90 days of hire
• EKG Certification highly preferred

• EKG experience 1 year required
• EKG certified preferred

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $22.66 - $36.87 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
