JOB OVERVIEW:


FULLY REMOTE POSITION - WORK FROM HOME - DAY SHIFT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):

  • Observe and interpret heart monitors – including irregular heartbeats, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest.
  • Communicate abnormal findings to the cardiology care team.
  • Record and edit monitor logs.
  • Prepare a full disclosure report for entry into the EMR once the physician evaluates and approves.
  • Effectively recognize ECG abnormalities and clearly report information to physicians as required according to notification protocol.
  • Produce reports delivered to the physician and perform report format modifications and additions as requested by physician.
  • Track monitor type, charges, ordering physician, date monitor provided and by whom, return date and when report sent to physician.
  • Create clear, accurate documentation on patient status and activity during the shift.
  • Sort and file all papers received by fax or electronically.
  • Perform basic monitor troubleshooting with patients – i.e., charging devices or reapplying devices.
  • Follow clinical protocols.
  • Orient new staff.
  • Participate in continued team education through shared learnings.
  • Contribute to a high-quality service both to physicians and patients.
  • Stay current and comply with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1 year experience in a healthcare role or certification in a healthcare role.
  • Strong technical and computer skills.
  • Licensed Paramedic.
  • Licensed LPN or RN.
  • Degree in exercise physiology or similar.
  • Enrolled in college for nursing or healthcare.
  • Looking for healthcare experience to apply to PA school.
  • Great communication and multi-tasking skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Certified CRAT/CCT.
  • Experience with MCT monitoring.

SCHEDULE:


Shifts Available, EST (please indicate shift preference you have): Additionally, weekends are included.

Shift options are:

  • 5–8-hour shifts.
  • 4 -10-hour shifts.
