Job summary

Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO, is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Cardiovascular Medicine - Liberty Clinic. You will help move patients through the visit, prepare exam rooms, and support physicians and staff in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires high school graduation and completion of an accredited MA program or equivalent certification. Full-time hours are 7am-5:30pm, Monday–Friday, with a rotating day off as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or at least one year as a Medical Assistant or CCMA/NCRMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits and assist physicians and nurses with procedures as defined by competency.
• Schedule tests, obtain films/reports, and prepare laboratory specimens as policy.
• Document vitals and patient history; maintain medical records and charts.
• Greet patients, register, schedule, and manage ambulatory care charges; process insurance forms.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure logs and equipment checks are completed.
