Job summary

Responsibilities

• Accurately schedules tests; obtains films and reports; prepares laboratory specimens.
• Assists physicians and/or nurses with procedures and examinations as defined on competency checklist.
• Collaborates with health care team to coordinate and implement patient care plans and records history elements.
• Electronically submits prescriptions and refills to outpatient pharmacies.
• Maintains medical records and ensures documentation is available in charts.
• Registers patients; pre-certification of tests, procedures and medications; processes charges.
• Performs vital signs and basic measurements; supports clinical team as needed.
