Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Cardiovascular Technician (Certified) for a full-time day shift in Reno, NV within the Cardiology department. The role involves assisting in scrub procedures and monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting with scrubbing procedures and monitoring data in a Cardiovascular Lab.
• Cardiovascular technician training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Current BCLS required upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS required upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic/therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Ensure procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
• Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
• Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff.
• Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
