BMC Berkeley Medical Center is seeking a CV Interventional Radiology Technologist to support invasive cardiac procedures and vascular labs. The role requires radiography licensure for the state of service, ARRT certification per location, and BLS.
You will work in a dynamic lab, assisting physicians, monitoring patients, and documenting procedures while ensuring sterile technique and patient safety throughout all interventions.
To perform as a technologist and assist the physician with patients who have had a variety of invasive cardiac procedures including but not limited to diagnostic heart catheterization, interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiological, device implantations, and peripheral vascular procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
Must possess current Radiography license as required by state board where services will be provided.
MD: Radiographer license through the Maryland Board of Physicians
OH: Radiographer license through the Ohio Board of Radiology
PA: No state license required
WV :Radiography License through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board.
MD: Registered Radiography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
OH: Registered Radiography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
PA: Registered Radiography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within Six (6) months of graduation from Medical Imaging program.
WV: Registered Radiography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
Obtain Dysthymia course certification through WVU Medicine within one year of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.

No experience required.
All CV Interventional Radiologic Technologists with less than 12 months of experienceenter at Level one.

Complete competency of Skill Set Tech 1.
Complete Workday course.
Level 3
Meets requirements for previous levels.
One continuing education pathway.
Three years of experience.
Compliant in 3 leadership/supervisory skills.
Complete competency of Skill Set Tech 1 and 2.
Level 4
Meets requirements for previous levels.
One continuing education pathway.
Five years of experience.
Compliant in 5 leadership/supervisory skills.
