Job summary

High Point Medical Center is seeking a qualified professional for its Cardiac Cath Lab. The role supports invasive/cardiology procedures, maintaining equipment readiness and patient safety, with on-call rotation and 4-10 hour days across a rotating schedule.

The ideal candidate will have nursing or allied health training, CV interventional program or 2+ years of CV specialist experience, ARRT or RN licensure, and strong documentation skills to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology (e.g., Radiologic Tech, Respiratory Therapy).
• Cardiovascular Interventional Program graduate or minimum two years of Cardiovascular Specialist experience.
• Registered with ARRT or licensed as RN (or applicable allied health license) per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and promotes teamwork and patient care quality.
• Operate invasive/interventional cardiology equipment including IABP.
• Prepare medications and verify emergency equipment before catheterization.
• Maintain radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and ensure readiness for procedures.
• Document accurately in electronic systems; ensure correct patient data and charges.
• Communicate clearly with team and patients to ensure safety and satisfaction.
