Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a part-time RN to join the Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Unit (CVIMC). The 16-bed unit provides specialized care for post-cardiovascular surgery patients and those needing close cardiac monitoring, bridging ICU and progressive care.

You will deliver safe, therapeutic care and collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons and a multidisciplinary team. This role offers weekend night shifts, a 24-hour per week schedule, and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to maintain patient safety and patient experience across the continuum.
