Job summary

MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute in Tacoma, WA is seeking a staff RN to join our cardiovascular ICU team on nights. This full-time position emphasizes specialized training and multidisciplinary collaboration.

You’ll apply nursing care within the hospital’s policies using the nursing process, while promoting patient autonomy and dignity across diverse backgrounds. Excellent teamwork and ongoing professional development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or MLS.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required; ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC as required by dept.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost efficiency.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care for diverse patients.
