Job summary

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - Madison seeks a PRN Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Care Unit. You will provide bedside nursing care in a hospital setting with a focus on complex assessments and interventions, following established policies and procedures.

The role requires an RN license in the applicable state and Basic Life Support certification, with no experience required. Expect a rotating shift and professional collaboration within the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program or education equivalency for licensing.
• RN license valid in Wisconsin and BLS HCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive patient data from patient, family, and other providers to build a holistic view of needs.
• Analyze data to determine diagnoses or conditions relevant to care.
• Collaborate with patient, family and interprofessional team to set optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement care plans; coordinate with patient, family and team.
• Evaluate progress toward goals and outcomes; ensure evidence-based practice is used.
