Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Oregon is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in collaboration with the health care team. Qualifications

• Minimum nine months of RN experience.
• Minimum one year ICU/CCU experience within the past five years.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon) required.
• Basic Life Support at hire and Advanced Cardiac Life Support at hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: perform multi-system assessments and discharge planning as part of hospitalization.
• Planning: develop individualized nursing care plans and coordinate with departments.
• Implementation: administer medications and document in EMR per policy.
• Evaluation: evaluate patient progress and participate in unit quality assurance activities.
