Job summary

The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Center (CVC 4) ICU. This 24-bed unit cares for post-operative cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients, with opportunities to participate in family conferences, rounds, and research activities.

You will work 36 hours per week, night shifts (12-hour) and every other weekend, with unit-wide float duties as needed. Excellent benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• 1 year of CVICU experience within the last 3 years.
• ACLS certification required or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist in research studies and quality assurance activities.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Team and participate in patient/family conferences and rounds.
