Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital Cardiothoracic Surgery team seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP-AC/PA) to deliver comprehensive perioperative care. The role emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention and advanced assessment in collaboration with the surgical team.

Responsibilities include OR support for CABG and valve procedures, ICU rounding, post-discharge follow-up, patient education and coordination with specialists to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• APRN: MSN or higher graduate degree in nursing required upon hire or within 3 years.
• PA: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies and state licensure.
• Current national certification and licensure as applicable (APRN/PA-C).
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat and document CT surgery patients across perioperative stages.
• Rounding in ICU and on the floor with clear EMR documentation.
• Operate in OR: CABG, valve repairs/replacements, aneurysm cases.
• Clinic visits, patient education and coordination of care.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality care.
