Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community, to drive demand for BMS medicines in Irvine, CA. The TAS builds credibility with regional thought leaders and community physicians, delivering scientific, compliant discussions that support patient care in cardiovascular disease.

The role is field-based, focusing on Territory plans and strong cross-functional collaboration, using CE^3 and other tools to enhance customer experience while meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years pharma/biotech experience in healthcare sales / MSL / HCP roles.
• Ability to translate scientific data for physicians and care teams.
• Proven credibility with customers and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Promotes approved indications within a defined territory to meet targets.
• Demonstrates scientific dialogue with HCPs and maintains up-to-date product knowledge.
• Organizes external speaker programs and manages scheduling and logistics.
• Collaborates with field teams to enhance the customer experience and share insights.
• Uses CE^3 and other tools to inform call plans and improve performance.
