Job summary

Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiovascular & Electrophysiology Tech – Pediatrics (Cath Lab, CVT, EP) to perform pediatric, adolescent and adult diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. This role functions independently as an expert technologist in invasive cardiology, assisting cardiologists with complex procedures and overseeing technical operations required for routine diagnostic through advanced interventional electrophysiology procedures. The candidate will be a highly competent and clinically skilled member of the Heart and Vascular Care Procedure Center patient care team, as well as an educator and trainer for staff within the department.

Work Schedule

40 or 36 hours per week in 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts. Operating hours Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM. On‑call every third weekend, with a one‑hour response time. Hours may vary based on operational needs.

  • Eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus (pro‑rated based on FTE).
  • Additional compensation may include evening and night shift differential, weekend differential, and on‑call pay.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a CVIS technologist training program preferred.
Experience
  • Preferred: 2 years of cardiovascular technologist work experience in a cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology laboratory.
Licenses & Certifications
  • BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
  • RCIS certification preferred; candidates who meet the minimum education requirement but are not yet licensed, certified, or registered by the appropriate credentialing program are also considered.
