Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Cardiology Technician to assist with diagnostic cardiac evaluations and related testing. You will perform EKGs, treadmill and ergometer testing, and monitor patient status to ensure accurate results.

The role also involves nuclear studies, Holter monitoring, signal averaging, and creating personal wellness profiles for patients across neonate to geriatric ages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or post-secondary education.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Schedules and assists in performance of EKG’s, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles on patients for the purpose of diagnostic cardiac evaluation. Patient type includes neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics.

REQUIRED

1. High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience as a Cardiology Technician
2. Certification (EKG, CNA or similar)
