Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a Cardiology Technician to support diagnostic cardiac evaluations, including EKGs, treadmill, and nuclear studies, as well as Holter monitoring for patients of all ages. This role requires accuracy, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Shift: 6p-6:30a (1800-0630). Requires a High school diploma or GED and American Heart Association BLS. Preferred: 1 year of cardiology tech experience and EKG/CNA certifications.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and assists in performance of EKGs, treadmill tests, and other diagnostic cardiac evaluations.
• Works with patients across neonate to geriatric populations during shifts.

Responsibilities

Schedules and assists in performance of EKG’s, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles on patients for the purpose of diagnostic cardiac evaluation. Patient type includes neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics.

Shift: 6p-6:30a

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience as a Cardiology Technician
• Certification (EKG, CNA or similar)
