Job summary

Northside Hospital in the Atlanta area is seeking a Cardiology Technician to support diagnostic cardiac testing and patient care. You will perform EKGs, treadmill/stress testing, and holter monitoring as part of routine evaluations.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, is BLS-certified, and has related experience or training. Shift is 11:00 AM–11:30 PM, with opportunities to grow within a growing cardiovascular program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• EKG technician training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs and treadmill/stress testing for diagnostic evaluation.
• Assist with nuclear studies, holter monitoring, and wellness profiles.
• Support adult and pediatric patients across shifts.

Schedules and assists in performance of EKG’s, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles on patients for the purpose of diagnostic cardiac evaluation. Patient type includes neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics.

Shift: 11a-11:30p

REQUIRED

1. High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

1. One (1) year of experience as a Cardiology Technician
2. Certification (EKG, CNA or similar)
