Northside Hospital Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Cardiology Technician to support diagnostic testing and patient care during night shifts.

This role requires attention to detail, patient safety, and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment. You will perform EKGs, treadmill and ergometer tests, Holter monitoring and other cardiac assessments, ensuring accurate data collection for physicians and timely reporting.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of Cardiology Technician experience preferred

Mansioni

• Perform EKGs, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, Holter monitoring and related cardiac tests
• Monitor diverse patient groups (neonates to geriatrics) during diagnostic procedures
• Prepare and document diagnostic data for physician review

Responsibilities

Schedules and assists in performance of EKG’s, treadmill, arm and bicycle ergometer, nuclear studies, holter monitoring, signal average testing, and personal wellness profiles on patients for the purpose of diagnostic cardiac evaluation. Patient type includes neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatrics.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

• One (1) year of experience as a Cardiology Technician
• Certification (EKG, CNA or similar)
