Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Certification RDCS/RCS/RVT/RVS must be obtained within 1 year of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Initiate cardiovascular ultrasound testing in line with department policy.
• Evaluate procedure appropriateness and suggest alternative modalities for patient safety.
• Document and verify physician orders as outlined in policy.
• Maintain accurate, concise documentation including abnormal findings and charges.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain cardiovascular ultrasound equipment.
