Job summary

The role involves delivering age-appropriate patient care, coordinating plans with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring thorough assessments and education for patients and families.

Qualified candidates will hold a BSN, have an active RN license, and exhibit strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program.
• Current valid RN license required at work state (compact multi-state licensure may apply).
• BLS certification preferred or required within 3 months of hire.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate nursing care and education to patients and families.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and document findings.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and verify patient identities.
• Coordinate care plans with providers and other disciplines.
• Schedule, pre-register patients, and assist with test/procedure preparation and education.
