Job summary

The role requires flexible hours, on-call duties, data entry, and collaboration with interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists. Minimum 1 year in invasive CV procedures or CVT program graduate; RCIS preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of cardiovascular cath and/or EP competencies.
• May function in monitoring, scrubbing, or circulating roles.
• Able to use critical thinking skills.
• Work with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and cardiologists.
• Preps and educates the patient for procedure.
• Demonstrates sterile technique.

Responsibilities

• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs.
• Able to work scheduled and cath lab On-Call hours.
• Knows lines of communication and authority; uses scripting (AIDET).
• Transports patients as needed and maintains privacy and comfort.
• Maintains departmental records and compliance with standards.
• Enters data in cath lab log and verifies accuracy; completes paperwork.
