Job summary

Allina Health, a not-for-profit health system in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, seeks a Cardiovascular Care Technician to support the cardiovascular clinic team. You will room patients, review medications, and coordinate with physicians and nurses to deliver timely cardiovascular care.

You will perform 12-lead EKG testing, prepare visits, educate patients on tests and lifestyle changes, and help maintain clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Educational requirement: 2-year or 4-year healthcare degree.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or externship completion required if non-certified.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (in-house within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and documents visit details.
• Educates patients on tests and lifestyle changes.
• Performs 12-lead EKG testing and documents charges.
• Maintains clinic environment and stocking of supplies.
• Coordinates care with physicians and nurses.
