Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Care Technician to join the CV clinic team in Saint Paul, MN. You will work with physicians, APPs, and nurses to deliver timely cardiovascular care, including patient rooming, medication review, and education on tests and healthy lifestyles.

The role requires a healthcare degree or CMA certification (or externship for non-certified applicants) and offers 40 hours per week with day shifts and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Must meet at least ONE of the requirements: healthcare degree or CMA certification, or externship in lieu of certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes patient rooming and documents chief complaint and medication list.
• Educates patients on cardiovascular care and test procedures.
• Prepares visits and obtains necessary records, including outside records.
• Performs 12-lead EKG testing and assists with diagnostic testing as needed.
• Maintains clinic environment and ensures supplies and equipment are stocked and functional.

Education

2 year degree or 4 year degree in healthcare or related field OR CMA
