Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma City seeks a CTA Cardiovascular to join the Cardiovascular Unit on a full-time night shift. Under RN supervision, you will perform routine patient care tasks, monitor vitals, and support treatment plans while ensuring safety and comfort for patients.

Requires a HS diploma or GED and BLS certification; no experience required. Certifications for CPCT/PCTC/AUA eligibility are expected, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• CPCT, PCTC or AUA eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health status under RN supervision and implement the plan of care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders within scope.
• Take and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and weight.
• Perform blood glucose monitoring and telemetry setup.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Maintain clean, orderly patient rooms and restock supplies.
• May precept new CTAs.
