Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon.
• Experience in thoracic transplantation is preferred.
• Subspecialty expertise in adult cardiac surgery is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex cardiac surgical procedures focusing on patient safety and outcomes.
• Manage heart and lung failure using advanced techniques including ECMO, VADs, and transplantation.
• Engage in academic and scholarly activities and contribute to research.
• Educate and mentor surgical fellows and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
